Unless otherwise stated, our tour packages include:

Accommodation on a full-board basis (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and Half-board basis( accomodation & breakfast)

Ground transportation throughout the itinerary

Professional English-speaking safari guide

National park and conservation entrance fees

Activities specifically listed in your itinerary

International and domestic flights are not included unless clearly specified in your quotation or booking confirmation.

Game drives are conducted in comfortable, well-maintained safari vehicles. Depending on the lodge or camp, game drives may be shared with other guests, with a maximum capacity of 10 passengers per vehicle.

Booking & Payment

To secure your booking, a 40% non-refundable deposit of the total tour cost is required.

Bookings will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received by Rata Travel Services. If payment is not received within 14 days of the reservation request, the booking may be released without further notice.

The remaining 60% balance must be paid no later than 21 days before the scheduled departure date.

Bookings made within 21 days of departure may require full payment at the time of confirmation.

Travel Documentation

Guests are responsible for ensuring they have all the required travel documents before departure, including a valid passport and any visas required for the countries they intend to visit.

As a general guideline, passports should:

Be valid for at least six (6) months after the completion of your trip.

Contain at least two blank pages for immigration stamps.

Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and travel itinerary. If your journey includes transit through other countries, additional visa requirements may apply.

While Rata Travel Services is happy to provide general guidance and assistance regarding travel documentation, obtaining the correct passports, visas, permits, and any other required documents remains the sole responsibility of the traveller.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory for all guests traveling with Rata Travel Services.

Your insurance policy should include, at minimum:

Emergency medical treatment

Medical evacuation and air rescue where applicable

Trip cancellation and interruption cover

Personal accident protection

Loss or theft of luggage and personal belongings

Guests are responsible for arranging suitable insurance before travel and should be able to provide proof of coverage if requested.

Rata Travel Services accepts no responsibility for costs, delays, losses, or damages resulting from inadequate or unavailable travel insurance.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:

30 days or more before departure: No cancellation fee.

14–29 days before departure: 70% of the total tour price will be charged.

1–13 days before departure: 100% of the total tour price will be charged.

Any applicable refunds will be processed after deducting cancellation fees and any non-recoverable costs already incurred on your behalf.
